A toolkit built around one idea: your data should stay yours.
Most link scanners work the same way: you paste in a URL, and it gets sent off to someone else's server to be checked. We didn't like that trade-off, so ToolKit doesn't do it. Every phishing check, malware heuristic, SSL validation, and tracker scan happens as a calculation on your own phone — the link is never sent off to anyone to be checked.
ToolKit is developed as part of the InShortUrl family of products — the same team behind InShortUrl's link infrastructure, applying that experience with URLs to help people browse a little more safely.
Privacy shouldn't be a premium feature.
No backend, by design
ToolKit doesn't have a server to send your data to — not "we promise not to," but structurally can't.
Nothing to sign up for
No account, no email, no phone number — open the app and start scanning.
Ads kept apart from your scans
ToolKit is free because it shows ads from Google. The ad SDK never gets the links you scan or your scan history, and we run no analytics or crash reporting of our own.
One toolkit, five jobs done right
Every check runs as a self-contained calculation on your phone — no lookups against an outside database, and no ToolKit server ever sees what you scan.
Link Scanner
Redirect-chain, phishing heuristics, malware indicators, SSL/TLS, and tracker checks — a five-step scan before you ever visit the page.
QR & Password Tools
Scan any QR code straight into the scanner, generate your own QR codes, and create strong passwords — all offline.
Network & Device Tools
See devices on your own Wi-Fi, test your screen for dead pixels, and jump straight to the Android settings you need most.
